Miles Traveled in Wales

This table provides seven categories of information of miles travelled by various forms of transport in Wales in 1990 and 2005. Altogether. In 1990 people travelled 4.74 Mill. Miles and in 2005 people travelled 6.475 Mill Miles.

Starting with walking people travelled 255,000 miles and in 2005 it increased slightly by only 3000 miles. By bicycle people travelled 51,000 and it increased by 1000. But in cars people traveled for 3,199,000 but it amazingly increased by 1,607,000 miles eventually in the 1990 people travelled on local bus for 429,000 miles and in 2005 it decreased because of the modern transports and it decreased by 155,000 miles. In 1990 people travelled for 54,000 miles using the coach and in 2005 they travelled for 124,000 miles.

In conclusion people use a lot of methods to transport, but in 2005 it increased probable because of the increase in population and availability of cars.
